Our musculoskeletal service works closely with working and retired/injured operational dogs as well as pet dogs. We are able to provide Class 4 laser therapy, massage, other soft tissue work, rehab planning/chronic condition management, taping techniques, and acupressure.
Due to our links with the working dog community, we have a good understanding of working dogs and the jobs they are required to do allowing us to implement management and rehab strategies to optimise their performance.
Please note, all dogs need to have had a signed vet form to attend these sessions - the vet form can be downloaded at the top of the page.
MSK/Veterinary Physio session cost £41.50/session, please email rachael@cotswoldanimaltherapy.co.uk or call 07734 738078 to book!
Alongside Cotswold Animal Therapy, Rachael runs CotswoldDOGS - a company providing a conservation detection dog service as well as man trailing and scent sports for pet dogs.
Mantrailing is a fun and addictive dog sport, for pet dogs. It's fully controlled as your dog will be working on a long line, so great for those dogs who need a little less free-range and a little more low-impact fun.
Dogs are worked one at a time, and are taught to find a hidden person, with plenty of rest breaks along the way - meaning it's great or reactive dogs, or those that need a steadier exercise session. Sniffing is tiring too, so your dogs brain will get a fab workout!
Scent Sports sessions are run through CotswoldDOGS
Scentsports is a fun and engaging take on scent work, based on operational methods. Scent Sports uses KONG as an odour and will teach you the principles of handling as well as teaching your dog the game of scent work.
If you'd like to have a go at Scent Sports, please get in touch as at the moment all session are 1:1, 1:2 or small private groups.
